Ich befürchte, das dürfte es jetzt doch gewesen sein. Sie beginnt zu betteln und ich weiß, was ich zu tun habe. Schade drum eigentlich. Hello my darling xxx!
Wish you a nice starting of the week! What did you do on weekend? I and mother decided to buy new hats for autumn. A lot of hats in the shop, but we didn't find anything what would have fit by model, quality and price. When a saleswoman saw that we're going to leave, she proposed to try a sweater, very warm, from wool - but the design appeared to be a rather rough, and 3 sizes bigger
Today I started the day from search of a way how to travel to Kiev. Maybe, you think that travelling to Kiev is like an easy cakewalk, but it's only for first look. It’s about 900 km.
1 - must receive permission from rebel's government for leaving the territory of Lugansk People's Republic (it's obligatory for all people, who want to travel) - 80 Euro, will be ready for 1 day
2 - I need to receive the permission from the SSU (for entering to Ukrainian side on the military check-point). I have to fill special form for SSU, where I write my personal data, route, aim of travelling and other details. After I have to wait minimum 14 days, maximum - unknown how many days. They make decision - am I a danger to Ukrainian state security or not? They can refuse me to receive permission, not explaining reasons. Some of my friends faced with this firsthand. That's why most of people from Lugansk and Donetsk prefer to use services of travel agencies, who guarantee receiving of permission quickly for 1 days. They have contact with officials from the SSU. But their services are not cheap - 80 Euro too!
3 - I have to book the bus ticket from Lugansk to the military check-point. It costs about 30 Euro. The bus stops before reaching the border between Donetsk Republic and Ukraine. All passengers get off the bus, and have to cross the border on foot. Soldiers can delay people as long as they want. Again not explaining reasons. They demand bribes. Check-point is situated in the open field, there are no hotel, shops, hospital, and other needed services for people. Even no WC! (sorry for intimate details) To avoid this, everyone must pay 20 Euro.
4 - I need a bulletproof vest - shooting on the military checkpoint is a usual situation, and people perish - not only militaries, but also civil people. I need to have at least some protection against bullets and shards of mines. A bulletproof vest cost about 120 Euro.
5 - After crossing the check-point, I have to take taxi to Konstantinovka, the closest town which has the railway station. Taxi costs 15 Euro.
6 - On the railway station, I sit the train and go to Kiev. The ticket costs about 20 Euro.
7 - Also I need a small sum as a pocket money – for food and unforeseen expenses. Guess, about 10 Euro will be enough.
So, I need 375 Euro totally. Really, crazy! Even more expensive than passport is, and too dangeorus. What should we do, my love? how to meet?
I miss you.
