I would like to answer your questions right away. Yes, I really love running outdoors, especially in the mornings, it always gives me a great boost of energy for the whole day. In my country, running outside is only possible in late spring and summer, and during the rest of the year I go to the gym. There I do fitness exercises, a little work on the machines, lift dumbbells, do squats and stretching. As I have already said, fitness for me is a way to restore my strength and recharge my energy 😊 By the way, I also love swimming in the pool. It is a wonderful way to relieve stress and relax.
I am interested in the culture of spiritual development. I am a christian and sometimes attend church, unfortunately not as often as I would like. But I hope that over time I will go more often.
I like helping people whenever I have the opportunity. Sometimes I buy food for homeless people or donate money to those who find themselves in difficult life situations. I think that everyone who is able to help others should do it, because selfless help is the main expression of love, and love is a quality that makes us true human beings.
You mentioned that you and your friends organized a group to help others, which is simply amazing. Tell me how exactly you help people? Please write about it in your next letter.
Now a few words about my plans for today 🙂
Right now I’m packing and getting ready to go out of town. Yesterday my aunt Anastasia called and invited my mom and me to spend the weekend at her country house.
Aunt Anastasia lives just a few kilometers from the city. It’s a small cozy village, always quiet, with fresh clean air, surrounded by beautiful forests and breathtaking landscapes. She has a spacious two-story house, and my mom and I often spend weekends there, escaping the city hustle.
I love spending time there. Being close to nature always refreshes me and fills me with new energy, helping me forget the noise of the city, feeling how lightness and calmness seep into every corner of the soul. It feels like even the air there breathes dreams and inspiration.
You know, I have a little dream... to one day live in my own house, where I could wake up to the singing of birds and the soft rustle of leaves in the morning, and in the evenings sit on the terrace with a cup of tea, next to someone special with whom I’d want to share every moment. A home where the walls are filled with warmth, where I can be myself and enjoy every minute, and the simple joys of life would feel even brighter with a loved one nearby... Oh, it seems I got a little carried away, as if for a moment it became real 😅

This morning I got up early to prepare a small surprise for my mom and aunt. You know, I don’t like arriving at someone’s home empty-handed, so I decided to bake pirozhki 😊
Have you ever heard of russian pirozhki ? They are like small pastries with a filling. In Russia, they are a traditional dish, and there are countless recipes. Fillings can be very different: meat, vegetables, fish, fruits, berries, even rice or other grains—the list could go on forever 😁 Pirozhki are a real playground for culinary creativity 😊
This time I made two types: sausages in dough (russian-style hot dogs) and pirozhki filled with beef and potatoes.
First, I kneaded the soft, warm dough and worked it for a long time until it became smooth and obedient, then I prepared the filling carefully so the taste would be truly homemade. There is something special about this process, when the kitchen gradually fills with aromas, and your hands seem to remember every movement by themselves 🙂
When everything was ready, I carefully placed the pirozhki on the baking tray and put them in the oven. Soon the house was filled with the warm, cozy smell of freshly baked pastries, and the golden crust turned just the way I love it 😋
I’ll attach a couple of photos to the letter, I think you’ll enjoy seeing them 😊 By the way, my mom taught me to bake pirozhki from a young age, so you could say it’s a true art passed down from generation to generation 🙂

Well, I think it’s time to bring my letter to a close. My mom will be here soon. Before we leave, we plan to stop by the supermarket to pick up a bit more food and drinks. I’ll try to write to you from the countryside if the internet is stable.
In the past six months, we’ve had serious problems with mobile internet. Due to the war with Ukraine, russian forces block mobile internet on smartphones. Ukrainian forces send drones to attack russian cities, and these drones are remotely controlled via internet connections. Russian military blocks mobile signals in many areas to prevent drones from reaching them.
Local authorities also block access to various international messengers and social networks. This creates huge difficulties for communication. Our smartphones lose internet signal as soon as we step outside. In the city and inside buildings, we have Wi-Fi and wired internet from providers, but in villages, there is only mobile internet, which is now very rarely available and only when the military lifts the block. This causes significant inconvenience for people in Russia, but there is nothing we can do about it. This terrible war has lasted for more than four years, and every year we have less freedom. We can only wait and hope that the war ends soon and peace comes.
But let’s not dwell on sad things. I want to stay positive and focus only on the good. The weekend has just begun, and may it be full of joyful moments for both of us 😊
