Let me tell you a little about my family. I have a small family—just my mom, whose name is Lena. You can see her in the photo in this letter. My dad passed away when I was only five years old, and I hardly remember him, but my mom often tells me nice stories about him, and the photos remind me of our past. Now my mother lives in a village not far from the city, helps her neighbors, sometimes babysits their child, and these people have become almost like family to us.
I also have a close friend, Marina—she is happily married and raising two beautiful daughters! She is a very important part of my life.
My mother dreamed that I would become a doctor like her—she imagined me in a white coat. But I chose to become a teacher and have never regretted it. I enjoy teaching children, although it can be difficult at times to see that not everyone is good at school subjects and that children have to devote more time to their studies, in which I always help them, of course, and encourage them to learn the lesson properly.
