As a result of efforts to renew trusting intergovernmental connections between the USA and Russian Federation, an agreement was concluded to repay many US, Canadian, UK, EU citizens using frozen Russian resources.
The aforementioned agreements with the Russian government are non-binding and excluded from public disclosure. It was decided to establish a joint working group to identify victims of fraud and subsequently pay compensation.
