I am very glad to receive your letter. Yesterday, I spent some time
reflecting on our communication and decided to write to you again to
share my thoughts and tell you a little more about myself. I hope that
our acquaintance will continue and become enjoyable and interesting
for both of us.
Thank you for your letter. I truly enjoy learning about you every
story you tell is like a new portrait of the person I'm talking to.
The fact that you've never been married or have children doesn't
indicate a flaw, but rather your selectivity, your unwillingness to
compromise on the most important things. I respect that. Yes,
understanding and respect are the foundation without which a house
can't be built. March 8th... Your birthday is on International Women's
Day! This seems very symbolic for a man who values understanding.
This year you turned 34 a wonderful age when you've already gained
experience, but still have your whole life ahead of you. I wonder why
you moved from Switzerland, if it's not a secret? What were you
looking for in a new place warmth, different opportunities, perhaps a
more vibrant pace of life? Having moved from Russia to Kazakhstan, I
can relate to the theme of finding your place. It's an important step
that says a lot about a person. You write that you love to read and
prefer books to films because they have more detail. I completely
agree! A book allows you to experience a story from the inside, to
feel the characters' thoughts. What genres or perhaps specific authors
are particularly close to you? For example, I love stories that have a
deep human truth, where the characters' souls are visible, even if the
narrative is sad. You asked for photos of course, I'll share them.
It's important to me that you see not only my face, but also my world:
the streets of my city, the park where I walk, maybe even my little
charges (without violating their privacy, of course). I believe that
everyday life and surroundings are also a part of a person. And now my
question is for you, Ralph. You write that you see opportunities in
our communication. What would be the most important, the most valuable
opportunity for you? What do you hope to find in this correspondence,
besides interesting conversations?
Today I woke up in a good mood and immediately thought about how much
I enjoy learning new things about each other. Your story about
yourself left a lot of impressions on me, and I am grateful that you
share your thoughts and life experiences. It helps me understand you
better and feel that we have many things in common. I truly appreciate
that you shared so much about yourself with me, and I find it very
interesting.
I hope you enjoy learning more about me as well, and that over time we
will continue to get to know each other better because I am genuinely
very interested.
Allow me to share a little about my day. Yesterday was quite busy
despite everyday responsibilities. In the morning, I went to a park
near my home. It was so pleasant! I think this time of year is the
most wonderful, and I really enjoy it. I love such walks because they
help me relax and recharge with positive energy. During my walk, I
listened to my favorite songs especially those that inspire me and
create a mood for a new day.
After the walk, I returned home and decided to try cooking something
new. I recently came across a recipe for Georgian khachapuri and
decided to make it. While cooking, I reminisced about how I loved
traveling across the Caucasus when I still lived in Russia back in
2020, and how I explored new flavors there. The khachapuri turned out
very delicious, and I felt a little like I was on vacation it's such a
pleasant feeling when you create something with your own hands and
enjoy the result, especially since homemade tastes so much better than
what you buy in a restaurant or cafe. Sometimes I wonder if I chose
the right profession maybe I should have become a chef?
In the evening, I watched a documentary about travels in Asia. It
showcased various cultures, traditions, and unusual places. Such
immersion into different worlds greatly broadens the horizon, and I
always dream of visiting those places I see in movies someday. I was
especially interested in cities located near mountain peaks and
ancient temples surrounded by nature. This inspires me to dream and
plan further. Do you like such places?
Recently, I’ve become passionate about photography it’s my way of
capturing beautiful moments. I hope you don’t mind if I share some of
my photos with you? I enjoy this hobby, but I don’t have anyone to
appreciate or share my photos with. I have some pictures from my hike
in the mountains and I will send them to you. I will attach a few of
these photos to my letter, and I would be grateful if you could
appreciate them.
I also wanted to ask: which books or movies had a strong impression on
you? Are there works that changed your perspective or made you think
about something important? I am very interested to learn about your
interests and preferences because I believe that it’s through such
details that true understanding of a person develops.
Recently, I watched the film Inside Lewin Davis it moved me deeply.
It’s so touching and profound; I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I also
read The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry it's incredibly
beautiful and intellectually enriching. Both stories have something
special that makes you think about life, love, and the meaning of
everything happening around us.
Another question do you like traveling? If yes, which places have left
the biggest impression on you? Are there countries or cities you dream
of visiting in the future? I love traveling myself and try to plan new
trips to discover new horizons. I am curious if you have any special
dreams or goals related to travel or other hobbies. Unfortunately, I
haven't had the chance to visit many countries I would like to see,
but I have enjoyed traveling within my own country.
In conclusion, I want to say that I really enjoy continuing our
correspondence. I feel that there might be something special between
us after all, it’s so important to find people with whom it’s
interesting to share thoughts and feelings. I hope we will keep
getting to know each other better and continue sharing our stories.
Please don’t hesitate to ask me questions I’ll be happy to answer and
tell you more about myself. I am very interested in hearing about you,
your dreams, hobbies, and what makes you happy. I believe that our
conversation is just beginning, and there are many interesting moments
ahead.
Wishing you a good day, and I look forward to your next letter.
With warmth and kind regards, Iana.
