To be honest, I'm a little confused... I thought I'd never get a reply from you.
But along with the confusion, I'm so glad you responded... I still can't believe it.
I should probably introduce myself, as I said in my last letter - my name is Marina, I'm 49 years old!
I apologize for my English, I studied it in school and college, but many years have passed and I don't remember it very well...
But for six months now, I've been working with a tutor and intensively studying English.
But I'm writing using an online translator, as my level of English leaves much to be desired...
I hope this won't become an obstacle to our communication. Tell me what you want to know about me, and I'll tell you.
I'm nervous right now; I haven't spoken to a man in a long time, and I'm very excited. Maybe I'll forget to write something, so ask me and I'll answer.
I live in Orenburg, Russia. I've lived in Russia since 2022. I used to live in Ukraine, but the war intervened in my life and turned so much upside down and changed it!
I remember everything that happened after 2014 with great pain, and it's hard for me to talk about it... But life goes on!
I was married, but now I've been single for many years. I have a daughter, she's already married and has her own family.
Ralf, do you have children? My daughter is already 27 years old, she's quite big and independent...
I'm an anesthesiologist by training, but I'm not currently working in my field.
I work as the head of the HR department at a factory that produces water and gas pipes.
I've been working at this plant for a year and a half. And three months ago I was promoted to department head.
In Ukraine, I worked as a doctor, but after moving to Russia, it was very difficult to work in my field. I tried to work as a doctor, but my colleagues treated me poorly, so I quit.
I also tutor and help medical students prepare for exams. I also give lectures at the medical college several times a week.
I'm not used to sitting idle, and it was quite difficult to find my feet in the new environment, but I've adjusted and am moving on!
Ralf, are you happy with your job? They say the best job is a well-paid hobby.
By the way, my hobby is decorating walls with artificial flowers and greenery. I make panels of artificial flowers.
I've been into this for a long time and have commissions from various cafes and companies.
But making such a panel takes a lot of time, so I only manage to make 3-5 panels a year. Do you have a hobby?
I think men have more choices than women, so I'm sure you have something special.
What else can I tell you? I'm a very well-mannered and honest woman. I believe in living by one's conscience and being more humane and kind.
I'm a good cook, but I don't always have time for that either (... But I'm Ukrainian, and I simply have no right not to know how to cook...
Ralf, I'll be honest, I decided to write to you because I'm simply tired of being alone, and I couldn't meet a decent man in my city.
Perhaps I was wrong and you're not interested in me. Or you're not looking for a relationship and aren't interested in dating, in which case I apologize for taking up your time.
You know, as you get older, you begin to appreciate every moment of your life, and I realized that I want to dedicate the rest of my life to a man, if I can find such a man...
I simply crave warmth, comfort, delicious food, a movie in the evening with a glass of wine, and the embrace of a loved one.
If you're also looking for the same thing as me, then I'll eagerly await your letter.
I hope that if you reply, you'll tell me more.
About myself, I'm very interested to know more about you!
Now, unfortunately, I have to finish this letter.
I'll attach a few photos for you... what do I look like? Have a nice day.
Marina!
