Today, I'll tell you more about the program I'll be flying to your country on. You know that I live in Kyiv, and I'm Ukrainian.
Representatives contacted my university after learning about my successes and that I'm an orphan, and they decided to offer me an international student exchange and internship.
I also won a grant from several students who participated in the competition, which covers visa and ticket costs, plus $12,000 for expenses during my stay.
I can spend the money myself and receive it upon arrival in your country. I'll need to travel to the capital and receive the money at the embassy.
I'll only be in the capital for a few days until all the formalities are completed, and once I receive the money, I'll be able to choose the city and location for my internship. Of course, the choice isn't random; they'll give me a list of organizations that could offer me an internship. But I already know I can choose almost any city. All the activities are also covered by the program.
What can I say, I'm very lucky! And I'm grateful to the people who work in these organizations and strive to give people a chance for a better life, to show themselves and their potential.
