I hope that my email finds you in good health. Thank you for your
prompt reply. The reason why I reached out to you goes deeper, but let
me explain in more detail.
I am a Syrian citizen currently living in Syria, even though half of
my country men have left. Right now mine is to get out of the
suffering that we are going through here in Syria because of the
protracted civil war that has claimed close to half a million lives,
and have rendered countless million like me and my family refugees in
Syria. We are originally from Aleppo City but had to flee when the
city was destroyed in the fighting between Assad's Army and the Free
Syria Rebel Army in 2013.
Dear xxx,, what I want you to help me to do is to re-invest my money
in your country . I was a businessman in Aleppo before the civil
war. My business has been destroyed by the war. Our economy has
collapsed since 2012. There are no meaningful economic activities
going on in Syria, and there will be none for the foreseeable future,
even if the war stops today as it will take more than a decade to
re-build our infrastructure and our economy. I want to emigrate to
your country, but not as a refugee, but as an investor as I still have
a substantial part of my cash holdings intact in my bank here in
Syria.
I want to go into a business partnership in your country businessman
through which the investments will be made. The reason why I need a
business partner in your country is because I do not know the
country that well to go into a business by myself. If I invest
without the help of a local businessman I will simply lose all my
money within a few months or a year. It is like a multinational
company hiring local staff when they want to enter into a new market,
the difference here being that I do not have the same capital that a
multinational business has at its disposal, so I cannot go about
hiring staff to manage any business I will set up as I do not have
such funds available. That is why I want to enter into a partnership
with you even though that any investment or business I set up in your
country will be funded 100% wholly by me. All I need from you is your
local expertise which will be crucial for any business I set up or
investment that I do to succeed.
Thank you for your explanations about your company. Will it be
possible to invest in your company through a partnership, or JV sort
of arrangement between a corporation that will be registered for that
purpose. I have to structure any investments that I will make in other
to full investor visa programs in your country Government, for
example the investor will be in a business which employs either a
minimum of ten in your country or legal residents.
Once I receive your response I will send you my passport copy and
telephone number and a brief details about me.
