Hi xxxx, Thank you very much for written me. I am very happy for your interest towards me, I was born in Kent, United Kingdom, grew up in the states. My father was a photo journalist for the military. He was an incredible Dad. He read constantly, he would sit at the dinner table and read and tell me what he was reading. I grew up listening to discussions about Plato or Karl Marx or Faulkner or Thomas Mann. We were allowed to discuss anything and everything. We could argue with him and present our view. It was not arguing, but more of discussing. He never hit, or threatened, raised his voice or cussed.
My mother's parents were German but my mother was born in the USA. She use to cuss in German.
I lived in England as a child.
My dad is a charming brutal business man. He trusts no one I trust everyone.
We are not close, he does not agree with some of the decisions I have made.
I was raised to be taken care, not raised to be this independent business man, life has created that. I was young when I got married. I married a guy I knew in school. I would not have sex with him before we got married. I was so shy I hardly dated. He was charming, a cheat and a liar. he lie and cheat on me for 12 years. I hid everything he does from my parents because I was ashamed.
One night I ended up half dead in the hospital. My father found out and threatened to kill him. I finally realised that my husband did not love me, how could he say he loved me and treat me like that.
I got my real estate license and found out I was a terrific at sales. Men thought I was awesome ( which I had not realised) and I could make money. I would be lying if I told you I did not sleep with anyone, but it was always a very committed relationship.
I had this rule, I would date anyone with kids the age doesn't count or distance, because I saw in my job the difficulty of blended families and I would not date customers or anyone I worked with, so it left a small pool because I worked all the time. I conducted myself in a conservative professional way,
Plus I was working with married couples and I just wanted to make money
I want to find my life partner, travel, relocate with him and ready build my life around him.
I need to get something to eat.
