Dear Sir,
I deem it necessary to contact you in this urgent and important matter,
and I am sending this proposal to you based on my regard for your
credibility. I have gone through your profile and I consider you to
capable enough to handle this business with me.
Actually, I was supposed to send this letter to you through a Courier
Company, but for safety reasons and limited time, I decided to contact
you by email. I work with a bank in Doha Qatar, and I am the account
officer to a special account belonging to an influential, powerful and
prominent man who is well known all over the world, but unfortunately he
has pass on now. For security reasons, I will not like to mention his
name, but I will disclose it to you if I get your assurance and
confidence in this proposal, and then I will send a scan copy of my
international passport to you, so that you will be sure of the person
contacting you.
This very account was opened under a special arrangement during the
crisis in Libya, and the man in question used the name of his son to
open the account with us. This very family is facing serious problem now
and his son who is the beneficiary to the account has already been
murdered.
Going by the rules and regulation of our bank, if our Board of Directors
should know that this fix deposit belongs to a member of this family,
they will close the account immediately and disburse the funds within
themselves. So, I have been the one covering up in this matter and if I
don’t move this fund as soon as possible, our management will soon know
about it, especially when they start their yearly auditing.
So, I am contacting you based on what happened on the 20th of October,
2011 and I need your understanding and full cooperation in this urgent
matter, which will enable me transfer the fund from our bank here to you
as the beneficiary. The amount involved is US$360M, and you will take
half of the total amount and keep the remaining half for me. That is the
deal.
If you are willing to finalize this transaction with me, please reply immediately, so that we can conclude on the arrangement.
