All the Christmas night we had so many little visitors:) I mean kids which was singing Christmas songs for sweets. I adore this Ukrainian tradition 'cause it always reminds me about my childhood. I did the same when I was a little girl..it even makes me smile when I look at my old pics in traditional Ukrainian costumes for the holidays..I was the sweetest child ever:)!! and i always had a lot of sweets! 
In a night time we were walking down the street together. My grandmother and mom were singing Ukrainian songs about Koliada, it's kind of holiday's spirit here. Then we visited our neighbors for kutia. It's a dish for the holiday with rice, nuts, honey and raisins. 
After the first day we were preparing some more traditional dishes for our new guests which came next day. I mean my aunt and my cousin Marina. She has two-years old boy Vlad. He is such a lovely child and he has her blue eyes!! I was sitting with him on my knees all the time because I cannot stand if someone asks me to hold their cute kid:)..it's adorable moments. 
My godson was so happy to get from me new toy!! I bought for him a red sport car with white stripes:). Since now this is his favorite toy:)..he was playing with it all the time even at the holiday table haha. I hope that next year I'll buy for him something bigger and more expensive to make him smile for me again:). 
Today I feel so sleepy and tired!! I had to come back home early in the morning by bus..ugh it's a working day and I have no forces even to make a cup of coffee:).. Any way I spent a great time with my close people and I'm really happy about it!!

Hello my dear xxxxx!! I miss you very much and you know i think about you very often. Hope that when you return you will find time to write me!! It was so naturally for me to think about you. I hope that it will not happened with you again!!please be careful:) I saw on the road, where after the winter, so many pits(in my country drivers told that road disappeared with snow), for the pool, so big and what can you think about it? About many men on 8.03 who run with many flowers in their hand and present) I would like that you will be with me and see how many woman were before this day on the shop, they will have holiday but as usual they need to clean and cook for themselves:( Our man are far from ideal and they don't have possibility to take their woman to the restaurant.. it's a pity. and you? what did you do on these days? do you miss me as i missed you? I hope so!

i celebrated the 8th of March - International Working Women?s Day !! It's a woman's day and we congratulate all woman. I found the meaning about it in the Internet: In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc. You know i had 3 days off and when i come to my parents on Sunday, my father told em that we need to visit our aunt, she is older sister of my father and now she is 70! Her name is Rimma, she is very energy woman, if you only see her you never think that she is so old:) 
I like to be with her, she is alone, cause only once was married, but only for few years... Her husband drunk and when he try to beat her, she left him. she told that its a pity that she don't have children but i for her as her daughter:) she always have present for me and i can speak with her for many hours. So, as we have long week end from Sunday till Tuesday - we decided to go to her. sorry, if you try to call me: the phone was not work in Russia. She live in small town, Rovenki in Russia. We bought for her flowers, she adore them and have many in her flat. also we bought a little fish - she told that she is too old for the dog or cat, so want to have somebody and fish will be ok:)) We came on Sunday evening, drink tea with her famous pancakes with plump's jam and salad. Next day we cleaned all and cooked a lot.
To her came her friends, the same old woman and we have great time!!! I ate a lot and think that I'll need the diet, but with my last exams and tests I'll be thin very soon again:)) Don't worry.
So, i need to end, not to bored you:)

It's a big pleasure for me to hear from you. I had a hope to get your letter today and now I'm excited to read it!! You know it's always so hard to start a talk with strangers because you don't know what experience you'll get in the end..it can be a good friendly talk or short writing about nothing in general..just empty words. Yes, sometimes it's true. it was nice to see your photos, but they are every small and have bad quality can you send me bigger? i see that you have good work, but i don't understand what you do.. sorry. do you like it?
So, now I want to tell more about me..yes..it can't be easy for me 'cause I always feel shy to talk to much about myself:). 
Hope it doesn't sound funny for you;)..OK, I'm Ukrainian girl Mariya, my second name is Grinchenko. But don't call me Mariya 'cause I don't really like it, my mother calls me Masha..so, you can call me this way. 
I live in a small town called Nemuriv.. What else I can say..must be have to say that my profession is a teacher.. Ukrainian language and literature is my passion!! I'm fifth-year student, of course I have to work but correspondence mode of study makes it real now.  I like to teach kids, to share my knowledges. This year I will have a practice in a high school..I think it will be the best time for me.  You know,  it's a reason to feel happy when you see children's eyes, know that they need you and you can give them your soul.  Oh, I wish I could work by my speciality in a future.. But it's not real now 'cause it can't give you enough money for living..it's a sad truth. That's why I have to work in a shop also.. But I don't like to talk about sad things in my life, I'm too positive person to think about it too much!! We were born to be happy with things we have got already. It's my opinion, hope you think the same. 
Hmm I see I'm too far from what I want to say ..sorry..I'm a silly talker:). The only thing  I love more than life is my family: mother, father and my younger brother Oleg. He's only 9. My brother is a tender creature and he's kind of kid for me. I always had to take care of my cute brother, my little sun:-). You know he was my start to a real life..I mean I had to take care of him, to help with home work all the time. It's an amazing experience..My love for kids started with the love to my little brother. I even played school with him, as if he was my pupil and I was his teacher. Since that time I dreamt to become a teacher. Yes, sounds like a dream but I want to make it real soon.. Same love I have to my parents.. oh, they are amazing people which gave us all their love. 
OK, I don't want to talk too much now 'cause I can make you bored:). I just think you are an interesting man and I see only good qualities in you for now. I hope you are a tender man with a good sense of humor, big heart and cold head to take care of woman you love. Don't feel shy to ask me anything you want to know about me. And tell me about your family.
