Hello dear! Thanks for the letter, it was so nice to hear from you! My
name is Ksusha. I live in Kremenchug, the city in Ukraine. It is a very
big and beautiful city. Maybe you have heard about it. I am 25 years
old. I have a lot of friends and some of them are already married.
Though they are so young they have families and I am not an exception
and I want to create a family too. So I hope to find husband maybe
here. I am really happy that I have met you on the Internet. I think
that we have one common feature we both are looking for a second half
here. And what is your opinion? You are interested to know me a little
bit better, I’m sure. Am I right? I share my flat with parents. I
don’t have any brothers or sisters but I don’t feel alone as I have
many relatives. I can say that I am interesting, attractive, tender,
self-confident and kind girl. I like to communicate with other people,
to spend my free time with my friends, sometimes I go to night clubs
to dance with my friends, sometimes we go to the cafes to have a cup
of coffee, sometimes we go to the concerts of famous groups. And we
enjoy our time. And what do you like to do when you have spare time, I
wonder? You know I speak English myself so I don’t need service of a
translator. I learned language at school. And I can speak it rather
fluently. When I studied at school I thought about my further
education a lot. So when I was in the 11th form I decided to be a
manager. I love to communicate with people and to meet new people and
after finishing the university I got a nice work in the trade company
in my town. This company deals with foods. I like to dance very much.
Once I even went to the dancing school here in Kremenchug. So I can do
it well! When me and my friends are at the disco I get relaxed through
dancing. You see, it helps to get out of stress. Really it is so. I
think it is the best way to get rid of negative emotions. I like when
a man pays a lot of attention to me and I like to pay attention to my
man. I’ll do all my best to make him feel happy. And what is your
dream? Can you tell me? Do you like nature? I like it very much,
especially in spring when grass is growing and leaves are appearing on
trees, when birds are singing. Do you agree that it is really
beautiful season? And exactly at this time me and my friends like to
organize different picnics. We like to breathe fresh air. When you do
it you feel free… And it is really cool to feel like that. Do you
think so? I want you to know that I don’t have bad habits. Like
smoking, drinking alcohol or taking drugs. You see, nowadays it is so
popular to take drugs; different screen stars give us a good example.
But I am sure that it is so awful to behave this way. I believe that
you agree. Oh I am interested if you have animals at home? A cat or a
dog? I have a cat. It is so fluffy, like a snowflake. So soft and
white. I like it. It’s name is Snow. What about you? So to make my
long story short I want to say that I hope we’ll know each other

Hi honey xxxxx , I am so happy to get a letter from you. Thank you for it. Now
I know that you are interested in me and we will continue our
communication. How are you? Maybe you are interested why so nice girl
looks for a husband on the internet. I’ll tell you. You see,
everything can’t be ideal in people’s lives, and I am not an
exception. I had one awful situation after which I said that I will
never marry a Ukrainian guy. I had relations with one boy and it
seemed to be perfect relations. He always told that he loves me. But
he lied to me. One day every lie becomes known. So it happened: it
became clear to me that he had another girl. There is a wonderful
proverb: “Between two stools you fall to the ground”. I think I am
right. And my boyfriend isn’t the one, almost all guys in Ukraine are
the same, because all my girlfriends had the similar situation. Now I
am disappointed and I want to find my second half on the Internet. I
believe that you want to know more about me. And about my family. I
live with my parents. I love them very much. I am not one kid in my
family I also have a sister. And what about you? Do you have brothers
or sisters? What can you tell me about them? My mother is a doctor.
She is 45. And my father is 50, he is a driver. I have already said
that I have a sister. Her name is Masha. I love her she is my best
friend. We share secrets with each other and we both can be sure that
no one will know these secrets. My parents are very good and kind
people and they can help me in any case. I can trust them. My family
is my castle I can say. Because if I have some problems everything is
done to solve them. You know I want to create my own family, to have
children and to be happy. And what are your thoughts about your
family? Do you have hobbies? What are your interests? As for me I like
dancing as you already know. But it is not the one hobby. I like
reading books, watching films and listening to the music. I am fond of
reading poetry and books about love. My favourite poet is R. Burns and
especially I like his poem “My heart’s in the Highlands”. As for
movies I like watching hits and adventures. I think that the best
music is classical, but also I like to listen to modern music: pop,
r’n’b and club sound. And what are your favourite movies? What books
and music do you prefer? I am interested in your tastes. Maybe you can
tell me your favourite colour? As for me I like white and pink
colours, they are so tender. I know that colours which people like can
tell about them a lot. And I think it is true to fact really. Because
I’m a tender and nice girl and these colours are calm and tender like
me. What girl doesn’t like flowers. I like daisies, they are my
favourite. The sun is shining now in the sky and I want my soul to

My darling xxxx, tomorrow it will be a New Year. You know, I like to
celebrate New Year most of all. I think this holiday is the best way
to start a new page in life. And at the end of every year I am sitting
and thinking about what I did and what I couldn’t do this year and I
am thinking about what I did good to my dearest and nearest. My dear,
today is my last letter to you this year. Because tomorrow the
Internet cafe will be closed and it will start working again on the
3rd of January as also my working days will begin and only
then I’ll write you but it will be next years.
When the New Year fireworks light up the sky and Auld Lang Syne fills
the air, I'll send you something that we can share. On the stars I'll
wish that someday we'll be together, and that the bond we forged will
survive all weather. And I'll vow that though the miles keep us apart,
I'll always keep a candle lit for you in my heart. Happy New Year, my

year and merry Christmas, let’s all your dream will come true... why
know, may be on next New Year you'll get the present about which
you're dreaming..:0) I’m just sorry that I’m not the magician and
can't across this huge distance between you and me and appear behind
the door of your house and knock it and as only you would open it I
would jump on you and tightly hug you and tenderly kissed, I would
wish you "happy new year" ..:0) it's so pity that I’m not the magician
:0( My darling, I really hope that you liked your New Year’s party and
that you were happy with your family and friends who were with you,
didn’t you???? My New Year’s party was really great in family and
friend’s surrounding. When I woke up in the morning on the 31st of
December, we began to prepare different dishes such as some salads,
cutlets. In the afternoon, I felt quite tired and went to sleep for a
little. I wake up at 8 o’clock in the evening and continue our
preparations. At 11 p.m. everything was ready. Some of my friends came
and my uncle with his wife. They brought a wonderful apple cake. At
11.30 we all sat at the table and started our party. At 12 o’clock –
we met New Year with a bottle of champagne and wish each other Happy
New year, good luck and all dreams come true. Our party was great, we
played games, opened presents that was under New Year’s tree, sang
songs, and danced. Then I with my friends went to the centre of our
town because there was a very high New Year’s tree, concerts and many
people. We came back home at 7 o’clock in the morning and we was so
tired that went asleep immediately. We woke up at 2 a.m. and sat
drinking tea with an apple cake. I am so happy that New Year’s party
was great, but I miss you and I wish to be with you and to meet this
New Year with you, my darling. Unfortunately after these days I felt
myself very bad, I got Quinsy and these days after New Year I was
laying in the bed with high temperature and felt myself very terrible
but that’s God I am feeling better right now. How are you, my
daring????? I was so missing you all these days. My darling, you know,
tomorrow it will be Christmas in my country. We celebrate it on the
7th of January and today it is Christmas Eve. We have so many
traditions in the evening and night before Christmas. First of all it
starts at 6 in the evening, when a lot pf people go from house to
house and congratulate people with coming Christmas and give them
national dish that called “Kutya”. You need to taste it and give
something to people who gave it to you, some sweets or money. They
also sing traditional songs and dance. At late night most unmarried
ladies gathering together and tell the fortune. This is also a great
tradition in my country and tomorrow it will be Christmas, when all
families gathering together at the table and celebrate Christmas.
Today in the evening I am going with my parents to our granny, because
tomorrow quite all members of our huge family will be gathering in my
granny’s house to celebrate Christmas together. I so love such
holiday, when all family is together at the table, talking discussing
and singing. I will be missing you so much and I am thinking about you
