I am an Orthodox Christian. I go to church and believe in God. Since childhood, my grandmother took me to church with her. I've always loved it! I was baptized at the age of 4. But I don't remember that. I was still very young.
I love to read. My favorite genres are romance novels and detective stories. If we're talking about specific books, Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" is the best novel I've ever read. Amid all the events happening in the world, I'd like to highlight one more book that left a deep imprint on my imagination: the dystopian novel "1984" by George Orwell. Andreas, I've been meaning to tell you about my family for a long time, as it plays a huge role in my life and who I am today. I come from a small, working-class family. I have no siblings. I'm an only child. I have a mother, a father, and my cousin Naomi, who is very close to us.
My mother was a high school math teacher, and my father was a career army officer. Their paths diverged when I was 17. It was difficult to overcome, but I overcame it, and it shaped me into who I am today.
My mother hoped I would become a teacher and follow in her footsteps, but I chose a different path. I turned it down and chose management and business, and I've never regretted it. My education at the International Academy of Management, Law, Finance, and Business, especially in English, proved invaluable. Of course, I didn't become a businesswoman. Haha! But my work allows me to support myself comfortably.
I hope my words won't make you think ill of me. I want to point out right away that money isn't all that important to me. I live a modest lifestyle and value experiences and relationships more than material possessions. I find joy in life's simple pleasures—a good book, the beauty of nature, the warmth of shared laughter. I believe in kindness, empathy, and the power of good conversation.
