i spent the day cleaning my apartment, sorting through my closets and getting rid of things i no longer need. tomorrow i’m planning to donate some clothes i’ve only worn a few times. you came to mind, so i checked my email and found your letter. thank you for not forgetting me. i really enjoy this little romance through our letters and hope it continues. i’m curious where it might lead.
last time i forgot to tell you about my appearance. i’m 165 cm tall, with chestnut-brown hair, gray-blue eyes, and lots of freckles, especially in summer. i used to be shy about them, but now i like myself the way i am. i smile a lot and try not to be sad. my mother taught me that. she’s no longer with us, but her warmth is always in my heart. i live with my aunt and uncle and stay active. i walk a lot, swim once a week (i love it!), and do aerobics. so tell me, am i your type of woman?
i have no kids, boyfriends and husbands. i work as an assistant to a plastic surgeon at a cosmetic clinic, helping with facial and neck procedures. the rest of the week i work as a freelance makeup artist and manicurist. having two jobs isn’t easy, but i have a dream of opening my own clinic one day. i also volunteer with a friend who is a hairdresser. we visit nursing homes, help people with haircuts, and spend time talking with them. many of them simply need someone to listen.
by the way, i speak a little english. what else languages do you know? i have whatsapp and could you give me your full whatsapp number? maybe one day i’ll surprise you with a call. but please keep writing here too, my internet isn’t always reliable, and using my computer is easier.

my dear! how are you? thanks for your warm words! i’m glad you feel like we understand each other, it makes the letters feel special. the internet can be a funny thing! it brings people across the world close, even if it’s just through words on a screen. i love hearing about your bike rides and the dinners with your parents, it sounds like a warm, steady life. and yeah, i’ve got time for little things too! i like drawing and listening to jazz, and i’d love to hear more about your favorite movies. i had a very interesting experience and i want to share it with you! in our clinic, we just launched a new service - professional self-tanning (it’s a special spray that gives an even tan without the sun). to set up the equipment and check how it works, i, of course, decided to try it on myself as an experiment! the process is quite fast and funny, but the most important thing is the result! i’m attaching the «before» and «after» photos. on them i’m a bit more... open than usual. but it’s just a work moment, and i’m showing them to you only because i trust you.
i’m not the kind of person who carelessly shares personal things, and this gesture is an exception - it shows that you’re important to me, not a hint at anything else. i’m curious what you’ll say about the result! this tan washes off quickly, and i hope there won’t be any effects on my skin. after work, i still managed to cook dinner. you know, i really love cooking meat, fish, and vegetables. i’m not picky with food. i like when the house feels cozy and smells delicious with homemade dishes. i’m not a chef, of course, but i love learning new recipes and treating my loved ones. i think there’s something very warm and personal about food - when the whole family sits together at the table for dinner. i hope one day we’ll share that ritual together.

i have some very important news for you i passed my driving test!
now i’ll have a real driver’s license and can finally drive a car!
i know i should’ve done it earlier, but only now do i realize how important it is for me. even though i don’t have my own car yet, having a license gives such an incredible feeling of freedom and independence.
i’ll be able to get to work easily and not depend on public transport schedules. i’m so happy!
i didn’t tell you about the exam before because i was terribly nervous and, to be honest, afraid to jinx it. usually, i don’t consider myself a superstitious person - i don’t believe in black cats, i’m not afraid of spilled salt, and i try to see life rationally. but still, i have one funny little habit i can’t get rid of.
if i forget something and have to go back into the house for example, to get my keys - before leaving again, i always look in the mirror and make a funny face! it sounds silly, but if i don’t do it, i’ll feel uneasy all day. that’s just how my strange, illogical nature works! do you have any small «rituals» or superstitions like that - things you believe in or always do?
