Every day, reading your letters, I get used to you more and more. I feel a good connection between us, and this is so important to me; it's such a warm feeling. I think you feel good and enjoy reading my letters.
I'm also very, very pleased that our dialogue isn't fading, but rather, is deepening. And yes, I feel like we understand each other, and that's priceless. The thought of one day talking in real life warms my heart and gives me hope. You asked about the internet. It's a double-edged sword, right? It can unite as well as divide. In our time, when real-life meetings are so difficult, the internet has become a bridge that allows us, people far apart, to find each other and share thoughts and feelings. I think it unites when people strive for sincerity and real communication. When I write to you, I try to put my whole soul into every word. I think about you, I imagine your smile, I imagine you reading my words. I try to convey my feelings to you, my warmth, my hope. I want you to feel that I am near, that I am speaking to you sincerely. I think about you too, I try to imagine your life, your world. And you are right, it is not always easy when you know that there is such a distance between us, such a different reality. But I will try to make sure that my letters help you look into my life, feel it. Your hobby cycling is wonderful! It is so wonderful to feel freedom, the wind in your hair, seeing the world around you. I also love spending time outdoors, but due to circumstances this is not always possible. Your relationship with your parents it is wonderful! It is so important to have such a strong family bond, especially when they live so close. Your meetings, dinners together, summer trips, winter skiing, trips to the cinema it is all so real, so full of life. I understand that sometimes it takes time to answer questions. Don't worry, I'll be waiting. The most important thing is your sincerity. My free time. It often intersects with work, but I find moments for myself. I love reading, especially something inspiring that helps me unwind and dream. Sometimes I listen to music, usually something calm and melodic that helps me relax. I love movies; I like those that make me think, or those that give me hope and faith in goodness.
Reading your letters, I realize that we are becoming closer. Of course, everyone is different, but how interesting it is when you feel someone! It would be wonderful to get to know you better, to truly feel your soul.
I had a difficult day today. Unfortunately, there was a missile attack and drone explosions last night. The whole house sat in the basement until almost the morning, waiting for everything to calm down. It was really scary. I tried not to show my fear in order to support each other, but inside I was shaking. Then I got some sleep and spent the rest of the day trying to recover from everything I'd been through. I didn't read or watch any movies today; I couldn't really concentrate on anything.
Dear xxx, how was your day? What did you do? I really hope you're well and safe. Please tell me about your day.
I think it's time for me to finish my letter, and I'll be waiting for your reply.
Yours, Mariia!
