I am delighted by your interest in me. I enjoy communicating with you and I also hope to become very close to you. How is your Sunday going today? Everything is quiet and peaceful here. There were no air raid sirens last night and I was able to sleep well. Today is my day off and as soon as I finish writing you this letter, I will go to the store. I need to do some shopping and buy some groceries. Then I'll go get some drinking water. The water that comes through the pipes here is not suitable for drinking, and once a week a water truck comes to our area. I'll have to wait in a long line, but I'm used to that by now.
To be honest, I really want to see your photos. Understand, Ralf, I want to get a complete picture of you. You ask what I think about before I write you a letter? I also try to imagine you and your life, but without your photos, it's difficult for me to do that. The Internet really brings people closer together, but please, xxx, send me a couple of your new photos.
Of course, every day I will try to immerse you more in my life.
I hope that we can continue to get to know each other well. I would be happy to learn more facts about you and your life. Don't be shy, talk about anything you want.
It would be better to use a communication method such as WhatsApp, but there are problems with that here right now. Accounts are frequently blocked by local authorities because we live close to the Russian occupation. The neighboring region of Kherson is under Russian occupation.
They intercept mobile signals, social networks, etc. Therefore, the government asks us to refrain from such activities in order to preserve data.
But personally, I think they banned messengers so that citizens wouldn't discuss everything that's going on around them there. And especially so that they wouldn't film the movement of military equipment and other aspects related to military operations. Because this data could fall into the hands of Russian intelligence. My city is the third most destroyed in Ukraine. It is also a strategic city.
So for now, this is the safest way to communicate.
I remember you telling me that you are a dentist. Tell me more about your work and your education.
Have all these events in my country had a significant impact on life in your country? I heard that everything has become much more expensive.
I am a paramedic by training. I received my education at the Nikolaev Basic Medical College. Then I worked as a nurse at a local clinic, but I didn't work there for long.
The work is very difficult and poorly paid. So I decided to change fields, but I kept my diploma. I worked in different places and even tried to start my own business selling goods from China. Then Covid started, and there was a serious crisis all over the world, and then the war began. I lost all my savings.
But now I work as an administrator in a beauty salon. They do hair for both men and women here. My job is to work with clients, keep track of appointments, etc.
The work isn't difficult, but it's not what I dreamed of. Still, it allows me to stay afloat.
I have many hobbies. I love spending time in nature, hiking, picnics, and barbecues. In the summer, I like to spend time at the river beach, sunbathing and swimming.
I also play sports, go to the gym, and try to stay in shape. When I was younger, I did folk dancing. So I love to dance and I'm good at it. How about you? Do you like to dance?
I once heard someone say, The way a person dances is the way they have sex. Dancing helps you let go, both in real life and in bed. But I can say for myself that it only helped me in terms of flexibility, haha. By the way, xxx, I also really love cycling, and that's another hobby of mine in my free time. Maybe we can go for a ride together?
What else can I tell you about myself... If I haven't answered any of your questions, I'll do it later. I never forget anything
Have a nice day, and please don't forget to send me your photos, Ralf! Yulia!!!
