How are you? How are you? I'm so glad we have this opportunity to talk, and I hope you are too.
Sorry it took me so long to respond; I didn't have internet access.
You know, I've long believed that any relationship begins with a simple dialogue, with ordinary words that gradually develop into trust, into affection, and perhaps even into something more.
I'm very interested in learning more about you. I'm interested in learning about your country and your city. After all, every place has its own atmosphere, its own history, its own traditions.
The war in my country continues, and it's sad, sad... Have you watched the latest news? I often read about presidential meetings, negotiations, promises of solutions... but in reality, everything drags on, and these conversations are almost useless. Sometimes it seems like they live in their own reality, far from people who have real concerns: family, work, simply the desire to live a peaceful life.
Now a little about myself. As I've already mentioned, my name is Alina and I'm 33 years old. I was born and raised in Kharkiv, my hometown and beloved city, but unfortunately, it became unsafe to live there. So, my mother, sister, and I moved to Kyiv to live with my aunt. Honestly, it wasn't an easy decision, because Kharkiv holds my childhood memories and everything else.
I'm a general practitioner by profession, and now I work as a massage therapist for children and women. It brings me true joy—seeing how people's well-being improves and how little ones begin to smile after treatments. It fills my soul with light and gives me the strength to move forward. My birthday is May 26th, and every year I try to celebrate it in a way that reminds me that, despite everything, life goes on, and there's room for joy in it. In Kharkiv, I volunteered tirelessly, visiting kindergartens, schools, and preschools, and our team simply helped everyone in need, sharing kindness, no matter what. And now we're still trying to become volunteers in Kyiv.
I've never been married. I think I just haven't met the right person for my life. But I believe that such encounters happen when they're meant to be, and perhaps now we've taken the first step toward each other.
Now tell me about yourself? What do you do, what is your profession? Do you love your work, or is it just a necessity? Do you live alone or with your family? How do you fill your days? It's really important for me to learn everything you want to tell me about yourself, because for me, correspondence isn't just empty words, but an opportunity to build something real.
I'd be very happy if you sent me a photo of yourself. It's important for me to see the eyes of the person I'm communicating with. In response, I send you my photos and a sincere smile. I hope this letter will be just the first step, followed by many more conversations between us.
Best wishes and looking forward to your reply, Alina
