Somehow, we’ve started to forget how sweet and meaningful it can be to exchange real letters.
The internet brought our two souls together yours and mine and even though we’re far apart, it doesn’t matter.
What truly matters is whether we enjoy talking to each other.
It's much harder to find someone special with whom conversation feels easy and interesting than it is to take a two-hour flight although I have to admit, flying makes me a little nervous.
Perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself already.
By the way, have you ever met someone from the internet in real life?

I’m honestly very curious about your life. There’s something I’d love to ask you, but I’m a bit shy.
I’m just an ordinary woman. I’m originally from central Ukraine, and like many others, I had to flee the war and now live in Turkey.
But I want to be clear from the beginning I will never ask you for money or gifts.
I’ve been lucky here I have a job I enjoy. I take care of people’s feet mostly women, elderly people, and tourists from Europe.
I earn enough to live well and even travel a little.
I feel ashamed sometimes for how some people from my country behave abroad, but please know we’re not all like that. I’m a normal woman, with a kind heart and good intentions.
I’m still learning how to write letters again. The last time I did this was about 20 years ago I used to write to a boy in East Germany.
At the time, many people there still spoke Russian, and it inspired me to start learning German.
I don’t know what became of him, but I truly hope he’s doing well.
May I ask how tall are you? I’m rather petite, but not overweight
For me, appearance isn’t the most important thing how about you?
Do you still remember your first love?
