How are you feeling today?
It’s me again and I’ve been eagerly waiting to hear from you. I hope my last letter reached you and you’ve had a chance to read it.
As I shared before I had to leave Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict. The constant bombings made it unsafe to stay so I relocated to Moldova where some of my father’s family lives. It's been an emotional journey but I feel a bit more secure now.
I’m 38 years old.
I want to respond to your letter and tell you not to worry about the age difference. I truly believe that it does not matter much when there is mutual understanding and feelings between two people. For me, age is just a number, and I am sure that for a real connection and love it does not play a decisive role. Do you agree with me?
Unfortunately, I don’t have a personal computer at the moment. I had to sell my laptop and phone to cover the costs of my trip to Moldova. But I plan to buy a new laptop. For now, I’m writing to you from my work computer.
I work as an accountant for a private construction company. I start at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 7:00 p.m. It’s a challenging job and I’m grateful that my experience and education helped me secure this position here. My role includes managing financial statements, overseeing taxes, and handling employee benefits. While it keeps me busy I find a certain satisfaction in maintaining order amidst the numbers.
I only have Sundays off, so that’s when I try to recharge and take care of personal things. I hope this won’t be an issue for us as we get to know each other better.
I live in Balti, a charming city about 135 kilometers from Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Have you ever visited Moldova? Balti may not be very big but it has its own unique beauty and a welcoming spirit.
For me age and appearances are secondary to what’s in a person’s heart. Sincerity and mutual respect mean everything to me and I hope that as we exchange letters our connection will grow stronger.
I’d love to hear more about your daily life. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
