Hi my new friend xxx. How was your day?
Your email address was provided to me by a dating agency in my country, and from where
they have already taken it, I can t answer, and I think it doesn t matter, since now we
have a great opportunity to get to know each other, don t you think so?
I was very glad to receive your reply so quick, I hope you liked my last letter.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a personal computer at home, due to the fact that the cost in Kazakhstan
for it is very expensive. But I m glad that I can come to work and make use the computer,
and be able to write to you. This is an ordinary computer on which I can find
information for preparing homework for my schoolboys. I can also listen to audio files,
but unfortunately I can t always open videos because the computer is old enough
and it hasn t been updated for a long time. My usual work schedule is from
7:00 am - 18:00 pm. I work from Monday to Friday, but when I conduct tests
or exams for schoolboys, I can go to work on Saturday. Therefore, I have almost
no possibility to write to you on a day off and I hope this will not be
a problem for us. Previously, when I didn t have much work, I worked as a tutor
and came to my school boys homes. I liked this time, it s much easier to find
a common language with children when you are alone with him. I think you
understand that at school children are very irrepressible and indulge and get
distracted a lot because of their age (smile). The children I teach are from
11 to 12 years old. When I come to visit them at home, the children absorbed
the information much better, and after we finish learning English, we went
to the kitchen to drink tea with dessert. Not so long ago, I was given
another class to study at school, so I get very tired and I no longer have
enough time and power for individual classes. Therefore, I ll return
to individual teaching in the summer, when we have holidays.
xxx, I would like to tell you about my hobby, I love to draw, sing and dance.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a star and getting on the TV screen,
and my parents always told me to wish something more realistic. But dreams
don t have any limits, do they? I remember how Dad turned on music at home
and I danced in the middle of the room, although it was probably difficult
to call it a dance (smile). In any case, I was a very active child and
I remember that I was even sent to dance school. But unfortunately, I was
never able to succeed in this school, as it was more focused on ballroom dancing,
and not on modern ones. When I went to school, I liked two school subjects the most,
literature and a foreign language. I fell in love with literature because
you can immerse yourself in another world, and sometimes I read so much
that I refused to take a walk on the street with my friends. I loved and
still love to read books. For example, the last book I read is called
"Arch of Triumph" it was written by Erich Maria Remarque. You may have heard
of this author. And I really liked one of his phrases - "I feel like I m among
people who are going to live forever. Anyway, that s how they behave.
They are so busy with money that they have forgotten about life." I think
there is something in this phrase that describes most of the people.
But of course, most of all I liked learning foreign languages. At first,
at school we had a choice to study English or German. After that, we were
divided into groups and each group studied the chosen school subject in their
school office. As a child, I always wondered why people just can t speak the same
language and understand each other (smile). That s probably why I was so interested
in learning English and I wanted to understand how people who don t live
in my country think. I studied well and even participated in Olympiads from school.
It seems that I even have a diploma somewhere at home confirming that I took
first place. After school, I entered the Faculty of Foreign Languages and
defended my diploma with honors. Of course, I understand that I do not know
English perfectly, because for this you need to live in another country
and practice communicating with native speakers of this language. Therefore,
I hope that you will not judge me strictly for possible mistakes in
my letters (smile). But if you remark a mistake, then be sure to tell me
about it so that in the future I ll correct myself. I would like to briefly
talk about my past with men. Unfortunately, I was faced with a relationship
where a man did not appreciate me and did not respect me. It lasted
for a long time, although I tried to fix the situation somehow, but it
didn t work out for me and I decided to break up. I only asked for attention,
care and respect, but my ex was rude and callous, although at first everything
was perfect. I ll tell you about it in more detail a little later, when we
get to know each other and it won t be so hard for me to remember my past
with him. At the moment I m free, I don t have a relationship with anyone,
otherwise I wouldn t have written to you. I have no children and no family,
I ve never been married. I will try to tell you more about my family
in my next email. You know, I don t need that much in my life to be happy.
All I would like at the moment is a real man who will be my support for me,
my wall, who will always be able to support me in difficult times. And I m
also ready to support my man in all the difficult moments of his life.
I live honestly, and it brings me pleasure. I don t have a family, and this
really upsets me, because I, like any person, would like to feel cared for
by my parents. We used to have a big family, but life is fleeting. I want
to finish today s letter and thank you for responding to me. I m glad to know
more about you and I hope that soon we can become friends (smile).
I hope in your next email you will tell me more about your family and friends.
I ll be waiting for your answer.
With respect,
Albina
