As always with a huge smile, I open and read your
response. But I re-read your letter and understand that I cannot hold
back the tears from the truth that burn my throat. I decided to tell
you everything that happened and is happening in my life during the
four years that I live in Russia. At that moment, when I stayed here,
I was not alone. We were a lot of people. Thousands of citizens of the
Donetsk People's Republic, who crossed the border to start a new life
in Russia. And at the refugee gathering point in the Rostov region, a
woman approached me, who promised high-paying work. She gathered me
and other girls, from 16 to 20 years old, there were about 50 girls,
this woman Larisa took our Ukrainian passports and we went to the city
of Pskov by minibuses. Here, they said that we need to pass medical
tests. They took tests for hepatitis and HIV. Then stripped to make
some records and said that now we will be sex slaves. We tried to run
and resist, but a group of men appeared, they beat us, injected some
substance and rudely took advantage of our weakness. And then we were
given such injections for a week. Sometimes we were fed, but more
often they just gave us some water. They tried to break our will and
then they did it. After these injections, everything happened in front

girls were taken to an unknown apartment. We were given new clothes.
And when I started to come to my senses, there was a man in front of
us who did not give his name, and he said that now we have no
documents and now we belong to him. Then we were again divided and we
were the four of us in the apartment where the men came and we
provided sex services. They kept us locked up for the entire first
year. But later, when they realized that we had nowhere to run without
documents, they allowed us to move freely city, but we had to come to
the apartment as a job, from 6 pm to 6 am. They said that we should
not go to the police, because there they have their own people at the
very top. And there was a story about one girl, Angela, who tried to
escape and go to the police, but the police just returned it to the
same gangsters. And after that, no one else saw Angela. At first, I
wanted to commit suicide and every day I searched for meaning in order
to continue my life. One happy day a year ago, I met a beautiful
person on the street. This person is the mother of the children I work
with now. Of course, I did not tell her about the situation in which I
am. I just said that I have no work. And she invited me to sit with
her children for three hours a day. I did not tell anyone that I work
for her, so that no one would betray me. I tell everyone that I just
sit on the street or in the library and read books, while I was saving
money and working on an escape plan from the country. The daughter of
this woman, the house where I work, Lyuda helped me with the Internet.
I made myself a Russian passport with the help of it through a special
website of state services, we left a request with it. I said that my
passport burned down along with my house in the war and I was given a
Russian passport without any problems. All this time I lived a dream
that I would flee from Russia to another country. Yesterday I
overheard a conversation in the brothel. The brothel owner wants to
sell us to another region of Russia. To the city of Kazan. Because
they are gaining new girls, younger than we are. I am very afraid to
