festival in Russia. Yesterday was Christmas. I usually do not stay on
the sidelines when it comes to customs and traditions.
And even more so when there come the Christmas holidays. All who have
a family usually spend the holiday with his family. I like going to
church, instead of lonely prayer before the icon. I mentally prepared
for the holiday and met this day in the church. I do not think this
devotion or concern of church activities. Believe necessary, but to

properly. Christmas was a pleasant event for me, despite all the
negative events in this life. But anguish did not leave me.
And all because a wish to be in your company right now is still not
fulfilled. I would love to experience your company and know that you

has not rewarded me with your strong arms and personal presence.

Christmas. This day is an official public holiday in Russia. Christmas
merged with the old Slavic holiday - "Святки" in Russia or
"Christmastide" in English.
Christmastide rites - the Christmas communal feasting, caroling -
eventually turned into the Christmas rituals. Christmas Orthodox

thorough. Six weeks before Christmas were fasting, ate fish. But at

Christmas, give each other gifts.
And in rural areas under the windows of people appear again become
that perform the procedure «koledovanje» and sing special songs -
