my dear, I already asked travel agent about tourist Schengen VISA to Germany! And the cost of 60 euros that you found out in the Internet - this is cost of consular contribution that is necessary to pay to the embassy!!! but whole visa getting process include other spending, as you also found out from the Internet - it is really difficult process to get visa for Ukrainian citizens to Schengen zone. there are a lot of documents that necessary to prepare to apply for visa and additional payments, such as Medical insurance, payment to the VISA center for their service and etc. and in order to apply for visa by my own, I will have to go to Kiev (capital of my country) and stay around couple weeks there, because first it will be necessary to prepare all documents for visa application and bring all pocket of documents to VISA center, from VISA center they send documents to the embassy already and then embassy can ask me to prepare and bring additional documents if something missed, because procedure of getting visa to Schengen zone is rather difficult, each situation takes individually and embassy may even ask me about some documents which are not in official list of necessary documents for visa application, so, for this I have to stay in Kiev and wait answer from the embassy and they take around couple weeks to give me visa and all this time I will need to stay in Kiev!!!! in this way spending for visa will be even more for me than 290 euros!!!! and still I can not know all rules of preparation documents for visa application, I can make any mistake or miss something and in this way I won't get the visa!!!
and also, please, pay attention, 60 euros that you told me about - this is cost of consular contribution only!!! additionally I will have to pay for Medical insurance preparation, to the VISA center service and for staying in Kiev!!! and there is no guarantee I will get the visa, cause I have never applied for visa, I don't know all nuances and etc.
but also, dear, please, understand - it is not possible to get visa with payment consular contribution only!!!! yes, there is amount of 60 euro, which embassy takes but there are additional spending also, and without these spending, it is not possible apply for visa!!!!
if apply for visa through travelling agency, sure they take some amount for their service, but they give one hundred per cent guarantee of getting visa for me and if something goes wrong they give money back!!!! and also to this cost included already all additional spending and consular contribution as well but payment to the VISA center also and medical insurance and in this way I won't need to go to Kiev, travelling agency provide all organization questions by their own!!! so, dear, that is why there is such cost!!!! but even if I organize visa by my own, the cost will be the same with payment for staying in Kiev and still I will need to prepare Medical insurance and pay to the VISA center and prepare other documents but still I don't know all nuances and there is big chance I can make any mistake and won't get the visa in this way!!!!
I have no reason to lie to you or something like this but this is how it works here, I have nothing to do with this unfortunately!!!!
