About me:

My friends describe me as a genuine, kind hearted, and intelligent woman. I put my whole heart into the relationships and activities that I do. I enjoy spending time with other people but definitely need some time to myself as well. I can be sarcastic sometimes, and prefer to catch up with people in person rather than by phone or email. I can be a little shy at first but open up as I get to know people better. I'm finding it hard to describe myself, so please ask any questions you have and I would by happy to tell you more. Photography, gardening, cooking, camping, and hiking are activities I enjoy and I am always looking for people to do these with. I play on rec league soccer teams whenever I can. I am a pretty laid back person and enjoy spending a weekend at home watching movies, taking a bath and reading a book, or spending valuable time with that special someone but I equally enjoy taking spontaneous trips on the weekends, whether it be to a hiking spot an hour away, or road tripping with friends to the beach 6 hours away. Family is important to me and I try to visit with them as often as possible. During the fall, I like watching the Hokies play and generally try to get together with fellow alumni to root for our team. During the work week, my schedule generally includes playing soccer, doing zumba, or running after work and then I head home to make dinner and hang out with my roommate (and friend). I am looking for a genuine, compassionate guy who can find humor in simple things and who will take adventures with me. I love to be surprised so anyone who can pull it out, I'm immediately impressed by. I'm totally open to anything from making a new friend, to having fun, but am ultimately looking for that person who just clicks, where mutual respect, commitment, and passion is evident.
