I'm the kind of person that smiles at strangers, always says please and thank you, and genuinely thinks that the small acts of kindness can change the world. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I will always go out of my way to help others. I think laughter is the best medicine and try to find the funny side in everything.
I'm an active person who enjoys squash, road cycling and cricket to name a few. Snowboarding makes me very happy, especially if accompanied by a snowball fight and mulled wine after. I have a thirst for new experiences and for coffee; preferably at the same time. I'd love to climb Mount Kili and trek in Nepal. I've just got back from travelling and accomplished some dreams of trekking/camping in Yosemite, and climbing a glacier in New Zealand. If you're the kind of person who loathes any form of exercise or physical activity then I'm probably not your type. That said, I love a lazy evening watching a rom-com after I've whipped up a storm in the kitchen. Food is another love of mine, I love to cook, so again, if you're the kind of person that doesn't like freshly cooked meals and would prefer a spin through the drive-in, I'm probably not your type.
I love travelling and exploring new cities and cultures. I'm just as happy staying slumming it in a hostel as I am living it up in a 5* hotel. I love to cook, so exploring the cuisines of other cultures and countries is a favourite of mine. I love to then go home and put my own spin on it. Really enjoy going to live music, especially if it's Wallis Bird - she's unreal!

Pet peeves: rudeness and arrogance, poor grammar/text speak, shiitake mushrooms, wasps, losing my keys/wallet/nephew or niece when I'm babysitting.
I've just got back from travelling so I'm looking to meet some wicked new chums (who can support me through this trying time of going back to my job after a 6 month sabbatical)! If something more happens then bonus.
