About me:

I'm a straightforward type, who doesn't chatter on endlessly about herself, but who shares the conversation and takes a genuine interest in others via inquiry and active listening. I do not reveal all on first meeting, but when I feel a genuine connection with someone, I don't play my cards close to my chest. I come right out and express my feelings.

I'm a fan of independent and/or foreign films, art museums, cozy cafes, self-improvement workshops, metaphysical conversations, traveling, spas (love a good massage), healthy cuisine, and time in nature.

I’m also perfectly happy curling up on the couch and reading or watching a movie with my Man. Low-key, one-on-one time is restorative for me. I don't need to paint the town red all the time, and I can't stand shopping. Large crowds and noisy places or parties are not my thing, as I have little patience for tight quarters, lots of small talk, or shouting so that I can be heard by someone standing right beside me.

If you prefer one-on-one interactions or more intimate gatherings to lots of hoopla, we have some hope.

What I look for in almost any relationship is the ability to give and take in conversation with ease.
I will always seek friends and partners who converse to forge or deepen a connection, not just to engage in mindless chit-chat or bask in the spotlight. I love people who know when to talk, when to inquire, and when to listen. Active listeners who don't have all the answers impress me. They're rare.

I am not put off by child, although I do want to have more if the right man wants it(Pets are OK too). However the type of man I seek require finds monogamy a natural state when partnered. It is for me.

Qualities I love in a men (and I do not expect to find all of these in one person) are honesty, loyalty, sensitivity, self-awareness, depth, straightforwardness, sincerity, warmth, thoughtfulness, tenderness, emotional maturity and availability, reliability, spiritual curiosity, intellectual sophistication (minus the arrogance that sometimes accompanies it), interpersonal intelligence, financial responsibility, a dry wit, calmness under pressure, artistic ability or appreciation, a way with words, health consciousness, sensuality, and s*xual openness -- the ability to share intimate desires, surrender to them, and be vulnerable.
