I am an intelligent, quick-witted, passionate, sensitive, and energetic person who loves to laugh, and finds reasons to smile, a lot, every day. I like to challenge myself and am usually anxious to go new places and try new things. Sure, I like to have some comfort in my life, but too much comfort can easily become boredom, so I like to stay engaged, whether it's learning to play the guitar, cooking a new type of food, hiking in the mountains, or exploring a city that I've never been to before.   Personal responsibility and having a positive impact on others is important to me. It's important to care for this world and the people we share it with.   While I can enjoy a serious discussion or conversation about important issues, I do like to laugh and be silly. I rarely get angry, and when I do I make every effort to let it go. Life's too short. There should be a good amount of FUN in life. If you're not having some fun, most every day, you're doing something wrong. As the only child, I learned to share and laugh and not take things too seriously at an early age. To this day, I am a very easy-going guy, who is game for most anything and tries to make the best of the difficult situations life can bring my way. I hug my friends, men and women. I believe in the value of human contact. Of course, I also respect personal boundaries and sensitivities. Some people don't know where to draw the line.   I'm a good guy and a really great partner. Some men may find me too "nice" a guy. Perhaps they're looking for a "bad guy" that they can reform. Hey, I can be pretty spontaneous and a little crazy, and I do like my rock'n'roll loud sometimes, but darn it, I'm a nice guy and I'll just have to live with the consequences of that.   I'm not expecting magic or lighting bolts from the sky here, but I am interested in meeting someone special, sharing some of our lives' stories, making a connection, forming a real friendship, and finding love.
